Sidwell lost a close game to Potomac. Potomac's starting pitcher was effective. He threw a complete game and held the Quakers to fewer hits than any other team has done this season. Sidwell recorded only three hits on the day -- all doubles -- from Tommy Levy, Porter Speece, and Daniel Piho. Critically, the team struggled to put balls in play with runners in scoring position, and when they did in the second and fourth innings, inning-ending line drives went directly at Potomac outfielders. This limited offense meant that Potomac was able to win while only scoring two runs.

On a positive note, Sidwell's defense was clean and included three standout plays: two diving plays at shortstop from Levy and one diving play on a shallow line drive from left fielder Jay Horton.
