In the first round of the MAC Tournament, the Quakers took care of business -- aided by a terrific start by senior George Bankoff. In addition to pitching well, Bankoff fielded his position phenomenally, highlighted by an athletic throw to double-up a runner on a popped-up bunt to end the fourth inning.

The defense was clean, and the offense caught barrels all day, highlighted by a two-home-run day by Porter Speece and senior Eric Sun's first career home run in a Quaker uniform.

After Sidwell notched three insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth, Tanner Breslin entered in relief of Bankoff and shut the door, striking out the side in the seventh. The game ended with a score of 5-0. The Quakers go on the road to face Potomac in the semifinals on Thursday.
