Sidwell was defeated by its rival Maret in its second league game of the season. Walks and errors plagued the Quakers the entire game, and the Frogs were able to take advantage of Quaker mistakes and scored seven runs in the fifth inning. Sidwell battled back and scored six runs in the final two innings, highlighted by a two-run home run to right field by Matt McLaughlin, but the effort could not overcome the earlier mistakes. Sidwell looks to get back on track on Tuesday against St. James.
