In the first round quarter-final of the MAC Tournament, Sidwell defeated Potomac for the second time in three days. The game was highlighted by stellar pitching by Nick Plebani, who struck out seven and only allowed four hits over five innings. At the plate, the Quakers bats stayed hot, tallying seven hits through five innings, led by Sam Hart's 3-3 day with a towering ground rule double. The game early due to a torrential downpour in the top of the sixth. The team will move on to the second round semi-finals of the MAC tournament on Wednesday against the winner of the Flint Hill/St. James game.
