Sidwell faltered, losing 7-12 and stumbling onto the first losing streak of the season. The team's hitting was good, with quality hits and stolen bases up and down the lineup. Additionally, Alvaro Bruetman recorded his third successful safety squeeze of the season, this time with Sam Mogilnicki scoring.
Unfortunately, the other components of the game were off, with none of the redeeming efforts that helped make the Avalon game a success, despite the mistakes.
The game ended early due to a two-hour time limit.
The team is hoping to bounce back from today's lackluster effort with a solid home performance against Maret on Friday.
